"BabyMoon" -one more get-away "just the two of you" before baby comes. There's actually a whole market for this, including endless get-away packages -just google it yourself sometime...
We stayed here in the DC area (& didn't do a "get-away package"), since we're now at 36 wks, but really had a blast together -renewed our best-friendship, deepened our love, & turned our hearts toward even more eagerly anticipating the arrival of our little one.
2 nights at a nearby hotel (Fri night-Sun lunchtime). On Saturday, we went & had a picnic & hiked around Great Falls (http://www.nps.gov/grfa/index.htm), then got all cleaned up & went out to eat at a nice steakhouse & went to the opening night of the Czech ballet performance, which was outstanding.
What a fun treasure of a weekend this will be in our memories -thank you, Jesus, for all the ways we were truly blessed on this trip.
