So Daniel's off on his newest work adventure -a week in northern Texas taking sound measurements at a National Park there -making sure it's as quiet as they'd like -& need -it to be for the animals, people camping/hiking, etc. He'll be back next Sat (Nov 15th) -the same day my (Sara's) parents will fly in for a Sat-Wed trip to see us (with a mini-trip of Sun-Mon to NYC together the four of us!!).
We chose to send him a little early (Friday morning) so he got to have a 24-hour layover in Houston & got to see his college buddy, Grant, who was an honorary groomsman for us, & Daniel was a groomsman for him (reports are that they had a blast together), & Saturday (yesterday) he flew to Amarillo (which is where the National Park is located), & he's spending the rest of this weekend with his Grandmother Robinson, who lives about 1/2 hour from the Amarillo airport. He'll have to say g'bye to her tomorrow morning (& head to the work site), which I'm sure will be hard -sounds like they're really having a great weekend together.
So, it's Jessica (Daniel's sis) & I, enjoying some girl time this week, just the two of us at our place :) I think tomorrow evening we'll go explore Union Station & maybe get to go to the daily free concert that's at the Kennedy Center if she gets off work in time, so that'll be fun -she hasn't gotten to explore much of DC yet :)
