Jen & Mike flew in for the weekend -Mike has a work conference, but lots of free time, too, so we got to go out to supper over on the Georgetown Harbor -about a 15 minute walk from our place. We took them to a restaurant with outdoor seating that overlooks the Potomac, the Kennedy Center, & the Watergate Hotel/Condos, & we talked until almost midnight before they caught the metro back over to their hotel. Such sweet fellowship -& so good to catch up. They mentored us in so many ways through our years in Indiana -we love 'em to pieces! (or as Daniel would add -in one big piece!) We won't get to meet up with them again this weekend because of our schedules, but we definitely sent them off with lots of ideas of what to go see & do in their free time :) We really enjoyed their company & were refreshed at the end of our evening together for sure.
