Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Our weekend trip to Boston to celebrate Jenn Gosselin's wedding day with her turned into a 17 hour nightmare stuck in airports, & making it to New York City -which we were never supposed to see, because we originally scheduled a direct flight -a direct, ONE hour flight for 7am Saturday morning to see a 530pm wedding in Boston. By the time they could finally get us on an airplane for Boston at 7pm, we told them to forget it & send us back home, because we'd missed the wedding. We walked back into our apartment at 11:15pm. So, I just had to take a pix of the "Welcome to NYC" sign at the airport, because the day went so horribly wrong (in our minds). Yet again, our sovereign God redeemed it, though, & much good did come of the weekend. We spent the whole day Saturday reading a book together that spurred much financial discussions between us, which we enjoyed, & we were able to help some friends (the Deatons) move into town on Sunday here in DC...sigh. We don't understand our big God's plans for our daily lives all the time, but we are glad to know He's in charge, not us, & that He's got a plan bigger than we can see, just like it tells us in Romans 8:28...
