My good ol' college roomie, Julie, got to come visit us Wed-Sun, & we had a blast! Daniel flew out early Friday morning for a 2 wk measurement trip in AL, so we got "3 of us" time, & girl time :)
She'd stomp around all day seeing museums/capitol building/white house/etc, then in the evenings we'd hang out or go stomp around the monuments, since you can walk around them with all the tourists in their buses till 10/11pm. And then Saturday I got off work early & got to spend the whole afternoon with her -we did paddleboats in the Tidal Basin of the Jefferson Memorial, then went up, up, up inside the Washington Monument, did Arlington Cemetary, then played in the pool at our apt, then I gave Julie a perm -turned out super cute :)
