We LOOVVVVVEEEE to go skiing!!! -well, Daniel loves to snowboard, & I love to ski :) 7 couples from our "young marrieds" Sunday school class went skiing for a weekend in January -pix are always better late than never, right?! hehe. (pix = Matt W, Chris, & Zane -left to right)... So, we all met up after work on Friday & headed out (4 hr drive), & came back Sunday night. Highlights include well, on the drive out there, Catherine & I waking up to Zane & Daniel saying, better put your shoes on, we're going to have to get out & push...umm, the lil' GPS system had taken us the SHORTEST route, & thus we were halfway up a logging trail -gravel, covered by ice, then covered by a sheet of snow -needless to say, we got the car turned around & recalculated for the "most traveled" route! (We had somehow seperated from the rest of the caravan of cars...)...the other favorite highlight had to be the outdoor hot tub that we thoroughly indulged in on Sat evening after a full day of skiing -it was right outside of the timeshares that we rented -mmm, it was nice :) Oh, & it was followed by a rowdy game of Battle of the Sexes...and, the men, & the women each won a round, but I must say, the men's team had quite the advantage with Daniel on their side, since he's married to a hairstylist -there was quite a few answers about makeup, hair, waxing, etc that he definitely helped his teammates out on...
